Agreed.I think you shouldn't be advanced until you are proficient in the chair you are in , and should already have a general idea of the next chair in line . I'm a stickler for ritual work and think that the Master , Senior Warden and Senior Deacon should know their degree work inside and out . I've seen Bro's set in the East that can barely open and close the lodge let alone do the degrees .
Webmason , I think that "it's your turn to move up mentality " should be thrown out of the lodge . For that reason , I will refer you to the first paragraph .
