Default DeMolay?

While I am not a Mason, my husband has read a lot about the Masons and when I saw the mention of DeMolay it made me wonder if this is a group named after the Grand Master DeMolay of the Knights Templar that he told me about?

You are correct . It was named for Jacques De Molay , the last Grand Master of the Nights Templars . It's a great organization for young men 12 to 21 that teaches civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills . Here's a link ,DeMolay International - What is DeMolay?

Thanks for your prompt answer. DeMolay seems to have been a very interesting character, from what I've read about him. There is a book called The Second Messiah that puts forth the theory that the Shroud of Turin is actually an image of DeMolay after he was tortured. Have you ever heard of it?

If you mean the book by Christopher Knight & Robert Lomas, I've read sections of it. Interesting theories, but I don't think I'd put money on who the image on the Turin shroud really is.
