Murphy's Law has happened in our lodge before. Everything went wrong (well not everything, but seemed that way) Although practicing for the degree the night before helped, everyone seemed to forget what was going on. I was acting Master for the first degree, it was a personal friend and I was the first line signer for him. We began the degree, The first thing was the candidate was prepared (well sorta, a couple of small things wrong) as I was completing the degree I realized in my hast that I had neglected a few important points which I was about to address, (kinda awkward explaining the unknown) anyhow, we finished and closed. I was only approached by 1 other individual from the lodge concerning the degree (that of course was my father, who taught me the degree) after conferring about the degree we both got a pretty good chuckle about it. The brother whom I conferred the degree to has since learned the degree, but he forgot what happened to him that night.

During my initiation, i had a metal object. So i just offered it without a second thought when asked. It wasn't until later i realized why the brethren started laughing when i did so.

It wasn't in Blue Lodge , but in the OES . Our Worthy Patron went to obligate our incoming sisters , instead of the OES obligation ,he started giving the EA obligation . I cleared my throat rather loudly , and when he looked at me I asked him were he thought we were . He looked around a minute , then it dawned on him what he was doing . Had me in the floor laughing .
