Time between degrees

So what is the average length of time between degrees at your lodge? I hear some lodges are as short as a month, and others require you to wait as much as a year.

In Pennsylvania, it is required that one masonic month elapse between each degree. This is standard except for special dispensations by the grand lodge, such as man to mason day which confers all 3 blue lodge degrees in one day to those signed up. It allows for a boost in the membership, but I feel it takes away from the learning, meaning, and impact of the degrees.

In our lodge, the average between degrees is six weeks. A friend of mine in Greece has been an EA for two years! YEARS!!!!
