increase in membership

Has anyone noticed an increase in membership? If so do you believe it is because of movies such as National Treasure or Di Vinci Code? Or do you believe it is for other reasons? Is your lodge doing a lot of public relations work?

My lodge has had a huge explosion in membership. I think the movies and books had something to do with it, but if you look our history wars seem to bring the membership up. Whatever the cause I think it is a good thing for the fraternity as long as the west gate is guarded well.
