In the July 2007 issue of Maxim a person writes in:

I miss being in a frat. What organizations can I join postcollege?

They answer back with:
1. Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks
2. Ancient Order of Hibernians
3. Shriners
4. Freemasons

They give a brief description of each. The descreption pretty much said it is a society of the founding fathers and other famous Americans, that you swear an oath of your throat cut and tongue torn out, and its more charitable then National Treasure conspiracies. I think it could have been much worse however due to a lot of the strange things mentioned by some people.
