Default The Dark Knight (2008)

Ok, I'm sure most have heard they are remaking the Batman movie with the Joker. I absolutely loved Jack Nicholson's portrait of the Joker. Thought it was the best part about the movie. While I've seen pictures of the new Joker played by Heath Ledger, and it does look a bit more sinister, I'm wondering how the character will turn out.

I see talks over the Internet and most revolve around the Joker character. What do you think? Will the Joker be as good? Will the movie as a whole be as good as the first?

I sure hope it is more sinister . I found all the other Batmans a little to cartoonish , that is until Batman Begins came out . From the clips I have seen on TV , Heath Ledger's "Joker" is far more darker than Jack Nickolson's . I have read that Jack's not to happy that they redid the Joker character .

I'm sure the film will be a hit whether it's any good or not. Heath Ledger's untimely demise will see to that.

Well, if Heath Ledger called upon any of the depth of his character from Monster's Ball he ought to portray a really stunning Joker.

I never seen the clip from the movie before but I that this would be much better than the old one. BTW, who will replace Ledger as the Joker?

With all these talking about the new Joker. I want to know who will be the Batman in the story. I hope that he could manage to stand out of his predecessors.

As far as I know, Heath Ledger had finnished filming this part at the time of his death, so there will be no need for a replacement.

Same as in "Batman Begins" , Christian Bale . Who did a far better job , IMHO , than George Clooney and Val Kilmer .

Christian Bale certainly did a wonderful Batman. He is such a good actor, taking on alot of dissimilar roles in his career.
