I just saw Sweeny Todd and loved it. I very quickly forgot it was a musical.

I love "We Were Soldiers" . That was an outstanding book , Joseph Galloway was a co-author on that book . I'm not correcting you Cummins , just didn't want to leave him out , lol.

I was able to watch National Treasure 2 this weekend, I thought it was actually very good. Not as much mention about the craft, but all in all, I will watch it again. I thought it was entertaining, and even though very far fetched, a good story line.
I also noticed that it was free preview of stars this past weekend, and must have been a Nicholas Cage weekend, with Ghost Rider, and Gone in 60 seconds repeated several times. I watched both of them again too.

I have the Stars movie package and they do that every month ,pick an actor and run a few of their movies. Even though they have ran "Ghost Rider" into the Ground the last few months .

I really enjoy 300. That is probably one of my favorite movies. I started watching Rendition last night but fell asleep. What I did see of it looked very good. I'm interested in finishing it tonight.

If I may make a recommendation of a movie to stay away from, I would say DO NOT WATCH...No Country For Old Men....HORRIBLE!!! I kept waiting for the movie to have purpose and it was over before it started. That's an hour and a half that I will never get back. lol

Another fantastic movie is The Bucket List. Very funny and entertaining. Morgan Freeman had somewhat of a narrator role as well as co-starring in the movie with Jack Nicholson. I like Morgan Freeman with the narration in movies such as Shawshank...another fantastic movie.

Ok..I have to stop. I could literally go on for days about movies.

I heard some say " No Country For Old Men " was good , and others say it wasn't . HUH , I was going to buy it , but I'll rent it instead so I will not waste any more money than I have to if it turns out I don't like it .

I just saw it too thanks to netflix. I liked it, not as much as the first, but still decent. I think it was kind of predictable and pretty much followed the same basic story of the first one though.

I also saw Jarhead. That was an interesting movie. I wouldn't go out and buy it, but may watch it again if its on TV.

Jarhead wasn't bad in my opinion, however, just like you Jason, I would not go out and buy it. I borrowed it from my wifes neice.

Does anyone else watch any of the movies on IFC (Independent Film Channel). They play a few mainstream movies, but most are film-makers trying to make a break into the industry. They also have some of the films with mainstream actors who elect to do off the wall movies, with as I understand, little or no compensation, just kinda pet projects I guess. I found quite a few of these movies better than some I have seen of mainstream movies.

Just asking of course.
