Default Has anyone seen any good movies today ?

Trivedi360 asked this in another thread and I thought needed a thread of it's own .What movies have you watched lately ?

I watched "Walk Hard" last night . I laughed my butt off . I was in the mood for something stupid and that was a perfect fit .

I have seen some good films. When I was back in the USA,and I knew I would not get a chance to see a theater film, I decided to see as many as I could.

"Untraceable"- enjoyed it, frightening, and technically accurate.

"Atonement" - The most depressing film I have ever seen. I wanted to take a bottle of valium.

"There will be blood" - Daniel Day-Lewis performance is over the top. He deserved the Best Actor award, and he got it. He plays a man with no morals at all, sort of a cross between "Macbeth" and "JR Ewing". A brilliant character study.

"Juno'- what a stink-bomb. A bimbo gets pregnant, decides against an abortion because the fetus has fingernails. Finds a couple to adopt the kid. The biggest waste of celluloid since Thomas Edison invented films.

Wen't to see Iron Man. Best movie adaptation of a comic book ever. I may go see it again.

I saw this Indian movie called Dhamaal that was about a group of people looking for a gang leader's money. Turns aout the money was below a W that was very hard to miss. I was laughing so hard my eyes started watering.

I just watched a Disney move “Enchanted” with my 4 year old daughter. It was cute. She loved it. I have always been a Disney fan.

I am a avid netflixer. I just got the latest Resident Evil movie. Not bad. Getting a bit predictable though.

I forgot what was before that, so it couldn't have been that good. I'm waiting for National Treasure 2 to come.
