Squirrels New TV

My Mother purchased the wife and I a new LED Samsung flat panel TV for Christmas . Yes , I was still using my old "fat back" TV lol . It still worked and I was waiting for it to kick the bucket before I purchased a new TV but it just kept on going . If it is working why buy a new one , right !? I am not one to waste money .

This TV is the best money can buy and even has a 3D option (that's how my Mother rolls) and the wife HATES the picture . She says it looks "too real" lol . I told her that that was the point of hi-def television but she is having none of it . I really did not care my movies/TV were not in hi-def until I popped in Bluray of one of my favorite movies "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl" and all I have to say is WOW , I have been missing out . It was a pain watching widescreen movies on a regular old fashioned TV screen anyway .

I am finally catching up with the times

It took me a while to get used to the picture too. You will find that you love it. Movies will take on a new life. Blu ray is nice, and even DVD's get upstream enhancements and look better.

I am still getting used to the picture myself , but in a good way . I am still tweaking the settings trying to coax the best picture (to my liking) as I did not like the factory settings .

After a while, you'll wonder why you waited so long to get the new TV... LOL I love mine. I've noticed that I have less eye strain when watching tv now too.

I am loving it thus far , and I am kicking myself in the butt for not getting a new TV sooner LOL .

My Mother always buys big for the wife and I because we have no children . I tell her not to do it but I believe she thinks we are being slighted because she spends so much for my brothers families/kids .

Pretty cool .... I linked my tablet with my TV and not only can I control my TV with it , but share pictures , videos , movies etc; etc; from Tab to TV . Technology , Wow !!! I remember having a black and white TV that I had to get up and manually change channels .

The wife was playing around with my Galaxy Tab 3 and liked it so I purchased her one for Christmas . My next purchase will be a Samsung Galaxy phone , might as well make it a hat trick .

Sounds like a nice present. I know my fathers TV has a nice HD picture. I see a big difference in his and my computer monitor.
