CUMBERLAND, Md. - Ali Ghan Shriners, under the sponsorship of the Ali Ghan Shrine Band, is hosting an Octoberfest on Friday, Oct. 19, from 4:-11 p.m. at the Shrine Ballroom in Cumberland.

This event is indoors and everyone is welcome.

Authentic Bavarian pork, bratwurst, knackwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad and ted vabbage with apples will be available from 5-8 p.m.

Spaten Imported German beer with domestics - and other refreshments - will be on sale for everyone's enjoyment from 4-11 p.m.

Entertainment will be on hand with the Ali Ghan Shrine Band from 5:30-6:15 p.m., and from 79:30 p.m. the Fire House German Band from Oakland, Md., will be performing for your listening and dancing enjoyment.

This event is a first for the Shrine Club and is planned to be an annual local event.


All proceeds go to support the Ali Ghan Shriner's Hospital Transportation Fund.
