Twenty families got a pleasant surprise for Thanksgiving when members of the Crittenden/Dry Ridge Masonic Lodge #694 delivered food baskets to their homes.
The laundry baskets were filled with whole turkeys, bacon, eggs, rolls, milk, orange and apple juice, fruit, cookies, stuffing, potatoes and vegetables. "It was the businesses who made this possible," said Bryan Slaughter, lodge member. "Without them, we would not have been able to do this." Grant County News Online |

That is a great story. It is always great to help those in need, and it makes it even more worthwhile when those recieving the gifts are not expecting it. Thanks for sharing.
