Default New addition to the family

Well looks like we have an Ema in our family now. The wife insists on naming her already, and since it is technically her dog, I gave in. I usually like to wait a few days to name my pets. We got her Tuesday, and she is a standard Schnauzer, and is about 11 weeks old.

I got her from a first time breeder. It has me a bit worried, but the vet gave her ok on her health. I'm still a little nervous about her, but the wife loves her. She is a bit more skittish then I'm used too, which is why I'm a bit worried. But she is getting better.

Jason, congrats on the new addition, however, you didn't just "give in" Now that it's official, you are merely following your prescribed path of saying.... "yes dear", " what ever you would like"..... just kidding, but seems to hold true for the most part, at least in my little corner of the world.

She may grow out of that skittishness . My JRT is skittish at loud noises , thunder and even runs when I shake out a trash bag to put in the can , but all 16 pounds of her will charge full tilt with her hackles up and teeth bared at a Rottweiler without fear .
