![]() | Hello, my name is Paul and I'm new to this whole thing. I'm a Pittsburgh based criminal defense attorney who is just now getting involved in freemasonry. With any luck I should be raised on February 26th at Corinthian lodge 573. The journey has been great so far--fine gentlemen in the lodge and really great fellowship. The whole deal promotes a real feeling of unworthiness which seems to be good for the soul. Nice group here and thanks for having me! Paul |

| 32° Scottish Rite | Hello, Paul. Good to see more Pittsburgh based Brothers are starting to find this site. I am at the North Hills Lodge # 716. I am also a recently raised Master, as of December 17, 2009. It has been a very interesting experience. I have really enjoyed being as active as possible, but the weather conditions held me from going to this months meeting. I hope you will enjoy the experiences as much as I have. I am looking to start traveling to other Lodges in the near future. Perhaps I will stop by the Corinthian for your raising.

![]() | Wow, lot of Pittsburgers around here! Definitely cool. Thanks for the welcome. Corinthian is out at the Masonic center, located on Cemetary Lane off the Perrysville exit of I-279 North. The Masonic Center is worth a visit in and of itself. Impressive building. Again, many thanks for the welcome! Paul |

| 32° Scottish Rite | I have been trying to get to the Corinthian for floor officer training, but have been having transportation issues. I recently made the mistake of buying an expensive puppy rather than putting that money towards a reliable car. Anyways, I will definately be spending two days at the Corinthian in April during the Scottish Rite degree days. My grandmother lives near Cemetary Lane, so I always drive by the Corinthian and get depressed that I have not been able to check it out yet. Paul, do you happen to know what day of each month the stated meetings are at Corinthian? I would love to attend a few.

![]() | Thanks again for the kind welcome, gents. To kcraig...that puppy will give you more pleasure than any vehicle could ever bring, so don't beat yourself up about it! As for masonry helping out in life, I'm already noticing how true that is--not professionally, but personally. I'm not entirely sure my ashlar is stone (seems more like a lump of mill slag to me); I think I have more flaws than most. Just the thought of what I've sworn to be has slowed the rising gorge of anger and made me more circumspect in speech. If this keeps up, by extreme old age I might be allowed out in society! Paul |

![]() | Well, I was raised the 26th. An incredibly moving experience and one which will take a long time to digest. I'm very greatful to those brothers that showed up in a blizzard, and to the gaotu that no one was injured on the roads. Paul |
