Hello from Georgia

Hi I am Chris Johnson. I will be going for my EA in about a week. I am kinda nervous and excited at the same time. Everyone I talk to tells me that everyone there has been through it before. So that makes it a little easier. I cant wait.

Yes , we have all been there and have all went through it also . Nothing to worry about , try to pay attention to what is said and enjoy .

Just be glad you are not my real life Brother. He will hopefully be going in soon (along with his boss), and I've been messing with them a bit.

But congratulations. It is a great experience. How are things up in GA?

Thanks Jason. Funny thing you should mention messing with them. The day after I got the news I was voted in, one of my buddies that I work with whom is already a member of the lodge I petitioned, kept coming up to me and giving me goat sounds. I'm sure you guys know what that is about. Things are very HOT up here in Ga. Where are you from? Assuming it's Florida since ya said "up" there.

Yeah, from Florida. Just north of Tampa. But will be in St. Augustine next month. Was thinking of heading your way if I can talk the wife into going to Bass Pro up in Atlanta, if we do not go for my friends vacation.

The Bass Pro Shops up here is amazing. I went there once with my brother and could not believe it. The aquarium itself is just awesome. Oh to be on top of that tank with a fishing rod. I live just northwest of Atlanta close to the Alabama line.

Not sure if you are an outdoor person, but you also have REI stores up there. I'm stuck having to drive to Orlando, as the Fort Myers Bass Pro is smaller, although nicer. I have heard the Bass Pro up there is nice though.

Well I am an outdoor person to an extent I guess you could say. I like to fish when I have someone to go fishing with. I like to go hunting, but then again sometimes it's too darn cold. My brother has a lake lot that we go and spend the day riding boats and jet skis. Mostly in the summertime I am inside huddled up next to the A/C. I am not familiar with REI. We were getting a Cabella's near by. I am not sure if anything else ever came out of that though.
