Does your Lodge or Jurisdiction have an ambassador program? Do you do something like a traveling gavel?

The Nebraska Grand Lodge has a Traveling Gavel program. The gavel starts out at the home lodge of the Grand Master and then is taken to another lodge by a number of brothers (3 or more) presented to that lodge, the information such as the date and brothers written in a journal, then that lodge continues the presentation to another lodge and so on. It was started by Grand Lodge to encourage lodges to visit other lodges. This program has been going on for either 5 or 6 years so far. My lodge has received it every year but one and I have been one of the carriers of the gavel to other lodges. This has not made any difference in the number of lodges I visit each year but it makes for a good time for us. One year we received it from a lodge that had to travel 4 hours to make our meeting, and they were there just after I arrived, about 30 - 45 minutes early
The gavel is very large about 24-28 inches long, it is made of many different kinds of wood and then turned on a lathe. The head portion is about 8-10 inches long and 4-6 inches in diameter. This gavel has a nice wooden presentation case which was made by the same brother who made the gavel.

What a great idea !! I would propose that in my country but we have 5 different constitutions meeting here so it may or may not work. We all know each other though.
On a similar topic, there is such things as Travelling Lodges. We had a visit from one of these that came from Hong Kong. Essentially, they travel to your destination and essentially borrow your Lodge for the night. They open the Lodge with their ritual, with their Master and Office Bearers and we attend as guests. Its quite fun.
