The degrees that follow, from the 34th and up are referred to as the Esoteric Degrees. Again, notice how things are taught in steps." What to think of it? It doesn't sound good, even one bit, 'cause if any of it is true means that not just non-masons but most of masons too are being misled and lied to. A lot of those sayings above have fueled hatred and fear for more than 100 years, and what he has achieved at very least is giving 'cause to the uneducated to invent conspiracy theories. Though what does he mean "from 34th degree and up"? The Ancient and Primitive Rite supposedly does have degrees up to 92nd. But Albert Pike was a Scottish Rite Mason. And was Primitive Rite even recognized officially in USA at any point? When he lived? *shrugs* I've been putting off buying a copy of Pike's "Morals and Dogma", but i should do it asap. If I'm a Mason i guess i should at least know these writings which caused so much ruckus. PLUS MOST IMPORTANT: Its important for me to see in which context those writings are presented. 'Cause pulling things out of the context is the Powerful Weapon that people have used to justify horrible deeds throughout human history.

The Devil is the personification of Atheism or Idolatry." In teachings of Kabbalah(judaism) and Hermetisism there is no "devil" as Christianity presents it. What is considered negative or lets use the world "evil", is the absence of positive or "good" - basically Darkness is not really Darkness its simply the absence of light. So "Yahveh reversed" means exactly that, if there is "Divine/Divinity/Goodness/Positive Energy/Good Karma/Noble Intentions... etc.." and what would be the opposite of it? Opposite would be lack of it, but does it mean "Evil"? As in intentional "Evil"? No. Simply the absence of the Divinity. This is something that was said by great minds like Albert Einstein for example, who was not a religious practitioner. He said it from the point of view of Physics, but funny enough on mental plane it has exact same application. In a way Buddhists share this view, as do Hindus, 'cause they believe that human mind is trapped in darkness, and the way to dispel the darkness is by "introducing light" into equation - that's why its called Enlightenment. Though its a play of words on my part, but it does carry the meaning presented. Next line confirms it even more: "...for Satan is not a black god but the negation of God." So Satan is not really a evil opposite of God - but just lack of God in person's heart/soul/mind. Last line expresses same thing, in different words. So chance is... He is a profound spiritual practitioner and a philosopher. And not a devil worshiper, like people accuse him. So i guess i'll write more once i'll get through his book.
