Default Thinker vs. Doer

I was talking to an old friend of mine and the subject came up so we had a little chatter about it. He posed a question of I was a thinker or a doer, it seems many masons are labeled as thinkers, philosophers, not doers. Umm, really? I wonder if they know that most work for a living.
