Default Average sleep time

I know everybody's different, but on average, how much sleep do you need each night? I can make due on 4 hours, but after a couple of weeks I need a weekend of 8's to put me back right again.

I usually sleep 6 hours a night, but need little nap after lunch. There are nights in which I only sleep 4-5, but on an average is 6. I can't sleep 8 even if I tried. My body is too used to the routine.

I sleep up to six hours a day. I know that's not enough and I wish I could get enough spare time to sleep longer. I just have too much work to do.

I vary wildly. I got maybe 3 or 4 hours friday and saturday. Last night I got maybe 6 or 7. Usually it is around 7. Some days though I just feel worn out. I think I have sleep apnea, as no matter how much sleep I get, it never seems to be enough. Some times though the less sleep I get the more refreshed I feel.

I sleep from around 10:30 PM to around 4:30 to 5:00 AM in the morning . On an odd note , I have an internal alarm clock , I can tell myself I need to be up at 3:30 in the morning and no matter when I went to bed , I will wake up a little before or right at 3:30 . It has never failed me to this date and I have never needed an alram clock , I don't even have one . Weird , I could never figure out how I got this way .

I try to get at least 8 hours of sleep, some nights it is a lot less. I notice that if I'm not getting enough sleep for too many nights in a row I start to have really bad days.

I sleep on average 7 hours a night. That seems to be good for me. I also have an internal alarm clock that wakes me up 6 am every morning no matter what time I go to bed!

I am good as long as I get 5 hours a day. I have a newborn baby at home so a lot of long nights and nice afternoon naps are my way of keeping rested!

Default 5 hours and a 20 min nap

I can do quite well on 5 hours as long as I get a 20 min nap in the day. It really helps to leave me feeling fresh and invigorated. I do know people who must have 10 hours a day so I feel lucky.

I like to take a nap, about half an hour or one hour. It really helps me to stay awake longer at night. I work better and more efficient at night to taking a nap is one of the ways to get more sleep for me.
