Default Daughter in honors

Our elementary school has a program where gifted children are enrolled in a special class called "honors", where they keep learning things like math at science and a slightly higher level than their peers. And I'm proud to report that my 10 year old daughter has made the cut for the second year in a row! I couldn't be more proud of her.

Congratulations. That is great to hear. It is hard not to tell people about something like that. I know they are talking about bumping our daughter out of the toddler program to the next one. I hate being the guy who always brings up their children, but sometimes it is hard when you see them do something great.

I like to hear when children are excelling in school. Congratulations! I wonder if the schools around us have that kind of program. I know we did in high school, but I don't think earlier. Something to look into thanks!

You have every right to be proud of her and of yourself and your husband because you provided the genes! Congratulations. I am as proud of one of my grandchildren who, at nine years old is way beyond where he should be in reading age and expresses himself with so much maturity it is astonishing.
