Default Ready for some football?

Are you ready for football? I can't wait for the regular season to start. I'm a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and I can't wait to see them play. Here we go Steelers, here we go!
What team do you support?

I can honestly say that I have never sat through an entire game of football ( or even the first quarter ) and can only name one player , which would be Peyton Manning . I love college baseball ( Texas Longhorns) , my Kentucky Wildcats basketball and college wrestling but that's where my watching of sports ends . I have tried to like football so I would have more in common with my brothers but I just can not get into it . I used to love Major league baseball but when they went on strike in the 80's for more money I washed my hands of them .

I usually watch football when I'm out at a sports bar type of place or someones house.

I use to be really big into sports especially football (green bay packers!), but since the family and wife came along we are busy and unless it is on somewhere else we are not watching it as we do not have any tv channels.

I used to love the Packers too, Go Favre! I can't believe there are not more football fans out there. Heck we wait for football to start. We are going to go to a couple of games this season. It's only a 5 hour drive.

My brothers eat , sleep and breath football . I , personally , have never really understood the fascination with sports , but I guess everyone has their own likes and dislikes . I do like watching them as they are watching a game , very amusing , screaming at the TV and cussing the players or the coaches and calling out plays they should run . My wife says she is lucky that she married a man who doesn't watch sports constantly , even with the Kentucky Wildcats B-Ball , I can't set through an entire game , I only switch over to catch the score , maybe watch a little then I get bored and then back to the History Channel .

Football has always been really big in my family. We do not have television any more so on Sundays we visit parents house or go out to dinner so we can catch a game.

I'm looking forward to the season. The season opener should be a good one (Vikings/Saints). I love to see rematches of critical playoff games in the regular season the following year. The Vikings dominated that game in the NFC championship...but coughed up the ball half a dozen times and gave it away. They still were in a position to win at the end of regulation (despite themselves), but snatched defeat from the hands of victory (a Vikings specialty).

I'd like to see the Vikes start the season off with a bit of redemption.

I love football. Unfortunately, my favorite team, the Chicago Bears, have really look awful. To hear the local sportscasters talk, this season is already lost. I may have to resort to watching college football.
