Negative media

It seems that this happens more times with masons that I think I have ever noticed before with regards to other belief structures. Is there just a common rule world wide through out history that notes negative media is a good way to judge and assume rather than actually "know" (the truth).

Yeah, it seems we've been getting a raw deal lately. I've seen several things posted on Facebook from a distant friend about who and who weren't Masons back throughout history. Honestly, I can't see where it would be a problem. We're really a bunch of nice guys.
