Did you guys hear about the gunman who took three people hostage at the Discovery Channel offices. The police killed him after about 3 hours. I didn't catch the reason the guy was upset with the Discovery Channel though, did you?

You would think that something like this would have hit at least the main news stations. I have been in the dark as well and I actually love some parts of the Discovery Channel and use the DVR bunches for their shows.

I saw it on the news but they did not mention it was at the Discovery channel. They reported about the gunman and about the police shooting him but they said it was at a, "Television Station".

I have caught glimpses of it. I guess he was a Al Gore follower, and felt Discovery Channel was ruining the world.

I heard something to the effect that he thought the Discovery channel was hurting nature and that he thought that humans were the lowest life form. He had been arrested before during another protest.
