![]() | Kinross, Mich. — Members of the Bethel Masonic Lodge #358 will provide free child identification program on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Chippewa County Fair. The program will run from noon to 6 p.m. on September 4 and 5. Each child will receive a dental impression as well as a CD containing a photo, video, digital fingerprints and their vital information. Parents and guardians of child who participate must be present and fill out the permission ship for the child to receive the free service. The Michigan Masonic Child ID Program provides the family with everything needed for the Amber Alert System. The program is also considered one of the most comprehensive programs of its kind by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. In 2009 alone the program identified over 14,000 people in Michigan. Interested individuals can contact Bob Erickson at 635-1324 or consult the Michigan Child ID website at Michigan Child Identification Program for more information.
