Free safety ID event in Massena to offer fingerprints, photos, safety info Sept. 11

MASSENA -- The Massena Police Department and the Massena Masons will hold a Safety Identification Event during the Massena Harvest Festival at the Masonic Temple, 90 Main St. Saturday Sept. 11, from noon to 4 pm.
They will be set up outdoors on the sidewalk in front of Cornell’s Dry Cleaners, or upstairs in the Lodge area if the weather is not suitable.
The Safety ID Program is open to the public and offered free of charge to all families within the County. No scheduled appointment is necessary.
Participants will receive a free packet of individual information to assist law enforcement in the safe recovery of a lost or missing child, student, or adult. All ages are welcome. Permission slips for minor children must be signed by a parent or guardian.
