Default 'Brotherhood Night' offers peek into charitable work of Masons

For much of its existence, the international fraternal organization known as Free and Accepted Masons has been shrouded in mystery.
But that's been changing in recent years. Indeed, as local Masonic brothers prepare for their fifth annual Brotherhood Night on Saturday, anyone interested in learning more about the Masons is being encouraged to attend.
"We really would like to see more of the public at this event," says David Fine of Mariemont, who co-chairs the event with Kenneth Carter. "This might give them a little clue into what we're all about. I want them to see what good work the Masons do."

we have had several of these in our area a few years ago. It was a push to boost numbers in the fraternity. I attended a couple of them, to see if anyone I knew attended, as well as offer any assistance to those who did attend. They were well attended by the public, I just don't know if it really helped boost members or if it just offered a peek into our fraternity.

Freemasonry may be traced by history and tradition, ...it is only necessary to refer to the information presented to you in a general manner. Information considered "secret" to mason's will NOT be divulged. Seek and ye shall find, Ask and it will be given you, Type and it will be posted (and most likely, answered).

Sometimes a peek into the "secrets" breeds curiosity.
