I know this might seem like a silly question, but...
How do women fit in? Do lodges ever have activities where members bring their wives? Or is this a strictly masculine society?

There's the Eastern Star, but there are plenty of other things where family and friends are welcome.

I'd be quite interested in hearing about that side of life in the lodge too. What role do wives and family members play?

Hello there,
The Order of Women Freemasons <http:www.owf.org.uk> have Lodges across the Commonwealth, with several being in Toronto, Canada.
I know there are two ladies who fly in from Kentucky to attend their respective Lodge(s) in that area.

Welcome back Pembridge . Now that's dedication , how often do they hold their stated meetings ? That would get expensive flying every month .
