Default Tonight in Racine. Eeeps!!!

Brothers, tonight Racine-Belle City Lodge #18 here in beautiful downtown Racine, WI will put on four, (count 'em!) four Entered Apprentice Degrees. And somehow, I have volunteered to do both the second and third sections ALL BY MYSELF!!! In addition to my responsibilities as SW. When will I learn NEVER to volunteer????

I wish I could make it for this. Would defiantly be a learning experience. Good Luck with your sections.

I am being initiated tonight along with 3 others as well (Star of the West #34)!

When you say LONG, how long are we talking? Should I be telling my wife to expect me for breakfast tomorrow?

WOWSERS, Two MM in one night is already too much. Bro. Patrick, you have learned, maybe not to not volunteer, but that your Brotherly Love is much appreciated. And Bro. Scouter, back some snack food and a bedroll depending on how they do it. LMAO

Well, as it turned out, it became a two-banger. So, not as late as I had initially feared, but still plenty late for these old bones. Luckily, I had a decent prompter, for as the evening wore on, I made a few errors (and/or forgot my place). Still ... not too bad! And a couple of EA's showed up that I had feared had abandoned the craft. Yay!

Congrats .

A few errors !? Try leaving out 2 entire pages of a lecture ! Last night I was delivering the MC lecture at a neighboring lodge , everything was going smoothly and then two old men started talking on the sidelines , threw off my concentration , and I skipped over two pages worth of lecture . Didn't dawn on me that I had until I started in on the Letter G lecture .
