Default Theme Parks

Do you visit any theme parks regularly? Once every few years I may get an annual pass to Bush Gardens / Seaworld as its free to FL residents when you buy a one day pass at full price. Other then that, I do not go to them often. I just realized this after living in FL for about 15 years that I just only recently went to Epcot.

I used to hit Kings Island in Ohio 2 or 3 times a year . My health will no longer allow it and I miss it .

A huge theme park . It's now owned by Paramount , You can see the car from "Waynes World" there . At one time it had the largest wooden roller coaster , The Beast . Here's a link to their main web site Kings Island | Official Home Page

I've done the Florida theme parks the once, when I had family living there. It had to be done, all part of the holiday experience! They're not really my cup of tea though, too many people in one place. I'm unsociable like that!

I haven't been to a theme park since the day we were in Disneyland, about fifteen years ago, and they announced that there were a million people in the park! You had to believe it, the place was so packed you couldn't move, and standing in lines were impossible.

...and over in Hanna-Barbara Land [for the kiddies] they had the Beastie, which my wife, a roller-coaster aficionado, talked me into riding.
Once.
I could barely pry my fingers off the safety bar.

I practically grew up at Busch Gardens and Adventure Island in Tampa.

But where I really want to go is to Camlann Medieval Village in Washington!

10+ years ago I had a business relationship with Disney, been behind the scenes at Disneyland and was involved in the construction at California Adventure.

Sample of my "operative" side...
