School supply giveaways begin Friday

Local groups have planned giveaways for school supplies this weekend.
The groups include the Alliance for Children's Enrichment (ACE), the Newnan Chapter 483 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and some business partners affiliated with Grantville Elementary School.
ACE is conducting its back-to-school supplies giveaway for elementary children on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its offices at 8 Carmichael St. in Newnan. Clothing will also be available.
