August 5 promises to be a very busy evening at the Masonic Temple in Camden. According to Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge's Worshipful Master, Fred Hartman, the public is invited to three presentations of achievements and recognitions for service.
Noted Hartman, "We are so pleased that we have so many new and young members in our Lodge, giving us good growth. But we are equally pleased to be able to present recognitions to long time members, such as a 50-year pin to Dean Overholser."
This award will be presented by the Past Grand Master of the Indiana Grand Lodge, Jim Barkdull.
Dean Overholser, a Delphi attorney with a 47-year career in the practice of law that included one term as Carroll County Prosecutor, began his Masonic work in Delphi's Mt. Olive Lodge #48 in 1958. Upon its merger with Camden's Mt. Zion Lodge No. 211, he transferred his membership to there.
