Masonic Lodge to lay cornerstone at new police headquarters

The Grand Lodge of Masonry for the state of Florida will conduct a Masonic Cornerstone Laying Ceremony for the new Cape Coral Police Headquarters on Thursday, June 25, at 2 p.m. The grand master and his line of officers from the Grand Lodge will be present to lay the stone, and will be joined by city officials and Cape Police representatives.
The cornerstone ceremony is performed only for schools, places of worship and public buildings. The current Cape Coral City Hall held a Masonic Cornerstone Laying Ceremony when the building was nearing completion.
