I'm getting ready for a project today. I'm going to be applying window tinting to some windows on my house. I've never done it before, so any suggestions that could help would be appreciated.

Well...This a late response, but use a spray bottle with of a drop or two of dish soap in the water. Apply liberally to a CLEAN window. Position the tint and use a squeegee to wipe away any bubbles.

A razor blade will help in cutting the extra tint.

Hope you had good luck! Flat windows are easy compared to a vehicle with curves in the glass.

It's not too late though, I'm still working through it. I'll try the spray bottle with soap, because the garden hose method isn't working too well.Thanks. I'm assuming the film goes on the inside?

Yep. The tint goes on the inside.
