    To my Tech savvy Brothers.....

When I log out of my yahoo email, it shuts down all other tabs I have open. No other website does this. It doesnt happen if I close the yahoo home page, just when I log out of the email. I am using Firefiox.....have I got something set to actomatically close everything when I log out of yahoo mail???

I'm not familiar with that. I can say that although Firefox is a good browser, recently I've switched because it crashes a lot. Try using a different browser like Chrome and try Yahoo again. If it closes then, it's probably a Yahoo thing.

I can't imagine that you set up your Yahoo mail to shut down your browser after you close the mail client.

I agree with Gary, try Chrome or Opera. Both are pretty good and stable. If it does happen with them it probably is a Yahoo thing. Maybe send them somesort of email. I dont have Yahoo mail so I am not sure if there is a CONTACT US section. Good Luck, let us know how it works out!

If you want a Chrome like browser without Google's finger in the pie , get Comodo's Dragon Browser , built off the Chrome framework , but has nothing to do with Google .

It is what I am using . As a matter of fact I use Comodo's free firewall and anti-virus also . I am not a fan of Google anything .

Check out their website , they have all kinds of great software for free .

I will most certainly do so. Thanks for the recommendation!

Well, the big diffrence is the engine that powers them.

Chrome uses what is called Chromium, which is based on Apple's WebKit engine to render content, and Comodo uses the Chromium engine as well.

Firefox uses its own engine called Gecko.

I know that's a little technical but that is the core diffrences between the browsers. :)

Do I need a Mac for Chrome or Comodo?
