ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — Men dressed in kilts professing loyalty to their society and to the communities where they live gathered to celebrate the installation of their 2011 officers of the Masonic Kilties of New Jersey.

And to celebrate the Freemasons' biggest and best kept "secret" for centuries — the men belonging to the worldwide organization all have the same philosophy of faith, hope and charity.
On Dec. 10, the Monmouth Lodge 172 on East Garfield Avenue conducted its yearly installation ceremony naming Clifford D. Heller, 47, of Middletown as its worshipful master. The lodge has been in the borough since 1897. Heller has been a member for 10 years.
The event was open to the public.
