DHARWAD: The Dhrawad Freemason Grand Lodge will launch an ambitious project, named Jyotirgamaya, for use of solar energy to light up houses in ruaral Uttara Kannada district.
Jyotirgamaya will light up 49 houses in a remote village, Shegikere,in Yellapur taluk with solar energy.
Grandmaster of the Grand Lodge, Captain Balaram Biswakumar, will inaugurate the project at the government primary school in Shegikere on Sunday at 11 am in the presence of regional grand master Retna Raj Sushil Raj and Master of the Lodge Dr S F Kumbar.
