It was tabled last year here in Ky to be voted on this year . I don't know if it's going to pass . Myself , I have know problem with it , if a man is old enough to fight and die for his country then he is old enough to become a Freemason .

That just means that guarding the West gate will be all the more important, these young petitioners have not established themselves in society yet and still need to mature, then again, so do some of the older brothers I have met... it should be interesting.

Maryland Grand Lodge approved the admission of 18-year-old men into the Fraternity a while back, and my Lodge has admitted one 18-year-old member so far.

I agree, and with proper guidance and assistance from the brethren, the lodge can help this young man establish himself.
