Hello all - my name's Tom and I'm from Alabama.

Unfortunately, I have not yet had the privilege of becoming a Mason (I'm still 19 and the Alabama lodges require you to be 21) but I hope over the next year and a half to learn more about Masonry from this community. I've been in pretty close contact with a couple Masons from my local lodge here, but I'd like to get involved here as well so I won't have to bother them so much.

But anyways, my name's Tom, I work for the University of Alabama in Huntsville as a web developer (ASP.Net/Microsoft SQL), and I really hope to become an active member in this community and eventually join the great fraternity of Masonry

If anyone has any questions they'd like to ask, feel free.

Welcome to FMH. This my friend is where you ask the questions and feel free to chime in. A very lost part of a Mason's work is the work he puts in before his first degree.
