I bet that most of you with kids is already thinking what am I going to give the kids' teachers. If not, you are probably thinking what am I going to give my boss, coworkers, etc. I am looking for ideas for these type of gifts. Economy is not the best so I would like clever gifts that are frugal.
I have been collecting my old candle jars. I am planning on filling them with candy and wrapping them with color cellophane paper and using some pretty ribbon I have left over from decorating the tree last year.
Tins of cookies My wife will start to make cookies and tin them right after Thanksgiving. By the time it is time to give gifts I will have a mountain of cookie tins ready to give to teachers and relatives.
I wish I had the baking bug, but I hate baking. That is why I do other crafts to overcome my baking short comings. I don't even like making cupcakes.
I like the banking idea This year my wife is going to try to make fudge for Christmas. Everyone I know loves fudge so if all goes well we should have some tasty treats to hand out.
