SPOKANE, Wash. — An inmate known by the nickname of "Johnny Sue-nami" has filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking an injunction to stop the Guinness Book of World Records from naming him as the person who has filed the most lawsuits in the history of mankind. Jonathan Lee Riches filed his latest legal fight in the Richland office of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. He is incarcerated in the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. Riches says Guinness is planning to print false information about the number of lawsuits he has filed, which he says is more than 4,000 worldwide. He previously filed a suit in the district against the Peanut Corp. of America, claiming federal officials fed him salmonella-tainted peanut butter. The Spokesman-Review says Riches acknowledges he is receiving treatment for mental-health problems. Local News | Man sues book in Wash. over most-litigious crown | Seattle Times Newspaper
Ah , the lazy , looking for the easy buck type . When my spinal disease became so bad that I could no longer work my old job , a lawyer hounded me in trying to sue my company . I refused , I was after all a company man . I even went to court on my company's behalf to counter the lies another co-worker on my boat was telling when suing the company over injuries he obtained from his own stupidity , he thought I was going to be there on his behalf . I blame the ambulance chasing lawyers out there , who will take on any case no matter how frivolous it mat be , to make a buck . I am even tired of seeing these law firm's commercials on TV over drugs someone has taken .
