    Just wondering if a Brother gets suspended for NPD..... does your Lodge notify any of the apendant bodies that Bro. XYZ has been suspended..... if I understand correctly...you have to be a member in good standing to be YR, SR, or Shrine.....

    Yes, in NC (AF&AM) appendant bodies are notified. It is often that notification that spurs the member to send in his blue lodge dues.

    Yes , along with a letter to all lodges in the area to let them know that said member is no longer in good standing and is not allowed to sit in lodge .

    Here in Wisconsin, our Grand Lodge does the deed. They notify all Lodges in which the Bro. holds plural membership, all the appendant bodies that he belongs to, etc.
