If they want , they can have them . My eye sight is awful , but the blind can have my eyes . I eat like a horse so my heart has had a hard go ot it , but it's up for grabs . And meds I take are slowly destroying my liver and kidneys ( I have to have blood work done once a month to keep an eye on them) , but anyone is more than welcome to them . My lungs should be good though , it's been going on 18 years since I smoked last . On second thought , maybe others would be better off getting the parts they need from someone healthier than I .
I won't be using them any more, so... My best friend and Masonic mentor while I was considering petitioning is a 12-14 year heart recipient. That's getting to be a pretty long time, so he is in my thoughts and prayers daily. S&F
I'm an Organ Donor, have been since I turned 16. I was already an EMT, so I realized the value of Organ Donors. I want to help anyone I can, so when I'm not able to use them anymore, I hope they serve others as well.
I agree, I have had the 'donor' sticker on my license for decades. Take 'em, I don't need them anyway!
I, too am an organ donor. I'm not sure how many organs I'll have left to donate. It seems like every time I see my doctor she wants another one for her collection. Prostate, gall Bladder, appendix, tonsils all gone.
