The Rainbow Girls in Branford are holding two special events this weekend - a membership day on Saturday; and a Holiday Fair on Sunday, Dec. 14. The Holiday Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 8 Eades St., in Branford. There will be crafts, children's clothing, country décor, homemade spices and teas, soybean candles, hand-knitted and crocheted items, gift baskets, door prizes and baked goods. Rainbow Girls is an organization for girls ages 11 to 20 that promotes service and charity.
