Congratulations Ashlar521, it is through the efforts of brothers like yourself that the ritual of Freemasonry will continue to be passed from the instructive tongue to the attentive ear. Believe me when I tell you this, I don't think of you as "tooting your own horn" as it has always impressed me when I witness a lecture given by any brother in a proficient manner. Good luck in your seeking of the Master Ritualist pin, and again congratulations.
Nebraska doesn't have pin as such but the NE Grand Lodge has certificates given to a brother who has demonstrated proficiency in each degree.

That is a special degree, I like it very much. We don't have a pin similar to yours here in GA, but I find that I really like learning lectures. It helps me to contribute to the lodge without actually being present for practices, which helps given my stage of life and career.

What you're doing contributes to the good of the order as much as anything else you could do. Congrats.

Thank you . I love being a ritualist . It is one thing to set on the sidelines (which is not a bad thing mind you , everyone is important) during degree work and watching or personally teaching the candidates through our lectures/rituals .

    Congratulations Ashlar.

The little gifts seem to always mean the most somehow.

Thank you . It is those little gifts that mean the most . I have since earned my Master Ritualist pin but never wear the pin because that award , or the pin I should say , has no meaning for me .

Doing the Proficiencies, lectures and the rest of the rituals is a thing of beauty. Ashlar, it takes a special brother to do what you did/are doing and i congratulate you. I have conferred 3 Ea and 2 FC this year, but have not yet done a lecture. I am in the process of learning the staircase. So again, my hat's off to you. Good luck on recieving the Master Ritualist in the future. Your brothers are proud of you.

    Bro. Ashlar-
(I have previously communicated with you regarding Ritualists in KY)
In NC, those who have learned the openings & closings, degrees, and lectures are termed Lecturers and may take an examination to be a Certified Lecturer, or if not yet proficient in the 1st & 3rd degree lectures, a Certified Instructor. My mentor in getting me Certified this year has now sucker punched me into getting appointed District Deputy Grand Lecturer! He was overdue and desperate to be replaced.
I was amazed in how the lectures came, not with any talent or brilliance, but just by taking the time to practice them. If you can learn a catechism, you can learn a lecture!
I am finally comfortable in participating in a degree! Once, as SD, I got distracted and wandered off course with the candidate! I do much better in delivering a lecture than in floor work.
I have also come across the term 'Esoteric Mason,' which I think also describes a Mason who has committed the lectures to memory. Are there any other terms for a person proficient in the ritual?
