After years of delay, senior Shriner officials will be in Montreal next week to announce that they are finally moving ahead with a plan to build a new hospital at the Glen Yard in Notre Dame de Grace. The new Shriner's Hospital will be built on the site of the McGill University Health Centre's superhospital. On Monday, delegates attending the Shriners' annual convention in Toronto were briefed on the latest progress. "One of the things that has happened this year is that we have continued to move ahead with planning for the new hospital," a Shriners spokesperson said yesterday.
