BILLINGS - Corbin Reed, along with his mother Wendy, live in Columbus, but spent Saturday morning at RiverStone Health in Billings. The reason for them being there is not because of some medical emergency, but an on-going struggle his family hopes doctors can help.

"He was born with an atretic ear," said Wendy.
An atretic ear, or Aural Atresia, is a congenital condition where the external ear canal is missing. In some cases, the inner parts could also have deformities.
"We don't know if everything's on the inside yet. The outer ear just never fully formed," said Wendy.

As a result, Wendy decided to take Corbin to a screening clinic hosted by the Al Bedoo Shriners on Saturday, after hearing about it from a friend at her church, and, as Wendy said, on KULR-8 News. Corbin was one of dozens of kids at the clinic. Shriner clowns took their time to keep the kids occupied, as the wait was, at times, long.
