Not taking sides here , just pointing it out because for too long on the internet , a few US Grand Lodges have been in the headlines the last few years , and taking a beating , for taking their cases to the "civilian" courtroom (or threats such as in Ky last year) . Now it looks like another jurisdiction is in the headlines ........ Freemasons For Dummies: Expelled Mason Sues Australian GL What I find funny though is if this was a US Grand Lodge , the comment section would be blowing up .
Unmasonic Conduct is enough for expulsion. Now why would you want to be re-instated to an organization that expelled you in the first place. If I was expelled, right or wrong, by my Lodge I think it would be a little ackward showing up for meetings. Its like going back to the job you got fired from, or showing up to a family reunion of an ex wife from a nasty divorce.
I find it interesting -- he wants to be reinstated and costs. It sounds as if he is after money from the Lodge, which is unmasonic also, kind of goes against our OB, the part about wronging & defrauding.
