My wife and I went to the NRA museum last weekend. We were in the area, and being a life member, I wanted to see the "mothership" and get some stuff at the gift shop. I didn't bring my camera, dangit! There is a display there on the time period of early American. I have a powderhorn in my antique collection, but nothing like this one. It had all the working tools, the eye, and everything on it. It was beautiful. I couldn't find a date on it, but it was the real deal, and it was old.

That sounds really cool . To bad you didn't have a camera ,I would have loved to seen a few pictures . Some brought to lodge a few years ago an old musket that was covered in Masonic symbols , it was beautiful .
