Here in PA (work with me here everyone knows we are different ) mention of anyones appendant activities is very taboo. Sometimes an announcement is made if someone recieves masonic honors (ie ROS, 33rd, KYCH, Red Cross of Constantine etc) but here noone is ever addressed beyond that of a Past Master or having served the executive office of the blue lodge.
Many other bodies do this as well as in PA a Past Grand Tall Cedar does not have his 33rd included in a Cedar brochure and vice versa. Appendant honors are seen as being exclusive to that particular body, and while in some terms these orders are very honorable, you still have to be a dirty apron, roll up your sleeves workin 3rd degree before any of that can happen, the newest brother, to the Duke of Kent is still first and foremost a simple mason. Remember the sword AND the trowel go together
