OK...so I am looking to go to Vegas in March...never been. Thinking about staying just off the strip (Palace Station Casino) and saving some $$$.... Any thoughts or suggestions on my planning.....I am thinking with the $$$ saved not staying on the strip, I can get a taxi and go to where I want.... Any suggestions on clubs to go to ????.....
Palace station is rather close to the strip. (only about a mile) In my 22 years in Vegas I have only had the pleasure of going to one club (The Artisan) and its right down Sahara Rd. Its a mixed scene there. My friends favor Tao, in the mirage. If you are looking to save some cash Freemont street is really cool. There is alot of live music and people walking around but, every hotel seems to have a club in it on the strip. Blondies in Planet Hollywood has or used to have 10 bucks all you can drink beer. Stoney's country bar is also a local favorite, (they dont always play country). also there is carnival court by Harrahs. Enjoy your stay. ps. if on foot, dont venture pass the statasphere during the night (we call it hooker ally, there are alot of crackheads running around there, and remember to tip a dollar a drink, or my trick is tip 5 bucks at first, the bartender wont forget your face and service will be better.
